This Data Deletion Policy explains how we handle requests for the deletion of personal data collected through the Real Madrid Foundation Football Program Kuwait (“we,” “us,” or “the Academy”). This policy complements our Privacy Policy and is designed to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable laws in Kuwait.

By enrolling in our programs or using our services, you acknowledge the terms outlined below regarding data deletion.

1. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we collect, including:
• Parent/guardian and participant contact details (name, email, phone, address).
• Participant’s date of birth, gender, and voluntary medical information.
• Enrollment and payment records.
• Correspondence and feedback.
• Photos and videos taken during sessions.

2. When You Can Request Deletion
You (or the parent/guardian) may request deletion of personal data at any time, subject to the limitations below. Requests must be submitted in writing via email to [Info@rmfkuwait.com], clearly stating the data you wish to delete and providing sufficient identification.
We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and aim to process it within 30 days.

3. What Data Can Be Deleted
Upon a valid request, we will delete or anonymize the following where possible:
• Contact details and enrollment records (after the retention period required for administrative purposes has ended).
• Medical information provided voluntarily.
• Correspondence and non-essential records.

4. Limitations and Data That Cannot Be Deleted
Certain data cannot be deleted due to operational, legal, or contractual reasons:
• Promotional Photos and Videos: Once photos or videos of participants have been used in promotional materials (e.g., social media posts, advertisements, website content, printed materials, or marketing campaigns), they cannot be removed. By enrolling, you grant irrevocable permission for their use as stated in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Published content on third-party platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook) may remain permanently.
• Financial and Payment Records (including invoices and receipts): These are essential for our internal financial records, accounting, and business management. They cannot be deleted, even upon request, and will be retained indefinitely or as long as necessary for operational purposes.
• Data Required for Ongoing Legal Obligations: Any data needed to comply with court orders, disputes, or regulatory requirements.
• Backup Archives: Data in secure backups may be retained until the backup cycle expires, but will not be actively used.

If deletion is not possible for the reasons above, we will inform you and explain why.

5. Process After Deletion Request
• We will confirm what data has been deleted and what (if any) must be retained.
• Deleted data will be securely erased from active systems.
• Third-party providers (e.g., payment processors) will be instructed to delete data where applicable.
• We will not charge a fee for standard deletion requests.

6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated “Last Updated” date.
